20 Day Old Child, Low TSH Levels. Test Shows Level Much Below Normal. Treatment?

Sir, My query is that my daughter is 20 days old born on 17-6-2012 and is born in XXXXXXXX. her ( Tsh ) level is 0.05 uIU/ML it is below normal, someone told me that if not treated immediately it leads to obstacle in mental and physical growth of child...need immediate help what to do.

Low levels of TSH in babies is found in children whose mother is also hypothyroid. It is necessary to start with the thyroid hormone supplementation for normal development of the brain. You can consult an endocrinologist for the same.
