13 Year Old, Suffering From Stomach Pain, Headache, Vomiting, Cramps. MRI Done. Suggestions?

Hi Doctor
I am asking on behalf of my 13year old grand daughter. For the last 6-7 weeks she is suffering from stomach pain, head ache, vomiting and cramps in her stomach. She had a blood test done but it was positive. She also had a MRI
scan done and her doctor will see her on Wednesday this week. However this afternoon she was in so much pain that my daughter took her to the children's hospital in desperation. No results yet. Would you have any suggestions?
Kind regards

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi Siggi Sundermann,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Which blood test is positive?

If you mention the test report I can advise you in a detailed way.

Which part of her abdomen is aching?

Is she having burning micturition?

This type of pain is seen with gall stones, renal stones, appendicitis, and pancreatitis, gastritis, and intestinal obstruction.

But detailed clinical history with relevant abdomen investigations such as ultrasound abdomen, blood tests are required to come to a conclusion.

For pain relief, she requires antispasmodic or pain killer medication.

Nothing to worry, as she got admitted into hospital and the doctor will do evaluation to know the cause for her pain and appropriate intervention can be done once the main cause is detected.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
