Brief Answer:
Melasma, upload pictures

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and it seems to be melasma which is a hyperpigmentary condition of the nose and cheeks.
I would recommend you to upload the pictures of the affected areas of the face so that I can grade your pigmentation and can guide you accordingly.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

Brief Answer:
Melasma and it’s management

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it is looking like melasma.
It is a hyperpigmentary condition of a skin associated with hormonal changes, genetic causes, excessive sun exposure, certain medicines like oral contraceptive pills, thyroid disorder and sometimes occurs without a cause.
I would recommend you to get your thyroid function tests and haemoglobin level checked.
I would recommend you to apply hydroquinone 2 percent cream ( kojiglo forte cream) on the dark spots at night along with frequent and regular application of a broad spectrum sunscreen ( faceguard gel) on the entire face 3 times in a day for 4 weeks.
Also take antioxidants like capsule Antoxid HC once daily for 3 months.
These are prescription drugs and should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.
Avoid sun exposure and take a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

Brief Answer:
With low haemoglobin levels pigmentation is more pronounced

Detailed Answer:
It has been seen that in patients with low haemoglobin levels the pigmentation is more pronounced.
So if your haemoglobin level is low intake of iron will improve your dark spots.
These medicines will definitely help in reducing your pigmentation but it is a slow process requiring few months.
