Why Am I Getting Red Rough Bumps On My Nose And Severe Dandruff On My Scalp For Over 8 Years?

Question: Hi, I am getting red rough bumps on my nose. When I visited one of the dermatologist I was told that those are black heads and gave me Lutiderm cream (Fluticasone Cream IP). I used it for 2 weeks and it got reduced. Once I stopped using it in one week I got them back.
Along with this I am having severe dandruff problem from long time (8 years). I have used many solutions both home and medical remedies but nothing helped in solving. It became so severe that I got small bumps on my scalp.
Could you please guide me on these problems.

Brief Answer:
Management of dandruff, upload pictures

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The red bumps on the nose could be black heads or associated with dandruff.
I would recommend you to upload the photographs of the affected areas so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.
For the dandruff problem I would recommend you to use a Salicylic acid and ketoconazole shampoo thrice weekly along with application of a lotion containing beclomethasone and clotrimazole on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily.
Also take tablet itraconazole 100 mg twice daily for 3 weeks.
If there is associated itching take antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once daily at bedtime.
Once the dandruff improves you have to taper down the medicines but continue with the shampoo as dandruff is a chronic condition and will recur otherwise.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your response. Attached the pics of the affected area along with the prescription of my previous consultation. Request you to suggest the brand name of the medicines if possible along with the chemical composition so that it would be easy for me to purchase.

Welcome

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
On the nose you are having acne.
I would recommend you to apply benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent gel ( persol AC 2.5 percent) on the bumps twice daily.
You can go for kenz sal lotion or salisia KT as a regular shampoo every alternate day, apply candid B lotion or zydip C lotion on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily.
Take capsule sporonox or capsule onitraz ( itraconazole) 100 mg twice daily along with tablet teczine ( levocetrizine) 5 mg at bedtime for 3 weeks.
