Question: When is the best time to take a shower after exercising? Right after when i'm still sweating?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

In my opinion you should wait for at least 20-30min. Before going to take a bath after exercising.

But if you are in hurry then wait for at least 15-20 min. ( so your body will be cool down) and see the water is not very cold or very hot( it should be of normal temperature).

After exercising your body temperature is high and if you take cold water bath you may go in shock.

I used to take a bath right after exercising. Then someone told me that if i take a shower right away, i'll be getting varicose veins. Is it true?

Yes, it is possible that you will have varicose vein if you have take bath right after exercise.

The reason behind it, after exercise if you take bath they will dilate your veins and it will further cause varicose vein.
