Brief Answer:
Chemical mild, consult doctor if symptoms severe

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

After shave lotions are usually alcohol based i.e. they contain alcohol or acetone.
Alcohol and acetone are organic compounds and less harmful as compared to strong acids, however, the ill-effects depend on the quantity of lotion consumed.
Vomit out if you feel like vomiting.
In case you develop burning sensation or any other discomfort in the epigastric region, you can consult your doctor.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
I suggest gastric lavarge

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Home remedies can be tried if it is ensured that no damage is done to the gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
The damage to the GIT can be prevented if the harmful contents are removed from the GIT.
Gastric lavarge is the right treatment for the ongoing burning sensation.
Home remedies might not be effective in controlling the basic cause of the symptoms.
They may provide symptomatic control but may not stop the damage.
I suggest you to kindly consult your primary healthcare provider.

Answered by Dr. Shailja Puri (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
These symptoms not due to consumption of chemical

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,

Difficulty in urination and defecation are probably not associated with consumption of after shave lotion.
Difficulty in defecation is suggestive of constipation and difficulty in urination is non-specific.
If there is associated burning while urinating, infection of the urinary tract can be present, however, difficulty in urination alone is non-specific.
You can get urine test done- routine and microscopy for further details.
For difficulty in defecation or constipation, drink plenty of water, take fiber rich foods and avoid refined foods and observe if there is any change in symptoms.

Thanks and take care
