Brief Answer:
just quit

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your question. I think some of your relative might have got into such a situation. My answer would be based on the information provided by you. The treating doctor is best person to take health related decisions as he is able to examine you and get you investigated.

A positive lymph node in ca prostate will classify it as stage 4 disease. The lymph node should be assessed by frozen section or cytology before decision making. For a proven stage 4 disease prostatectomy surgery should not be done ideally. But a surgeon usually considers many factors before taking per-operative decision. The patients consent is required before making any decisions regarding surgery.

Hope it helps.
