Brief Answer:
due to high dose of thyroxine

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, usual weight gain in pregnancy is around 9-12 kg with an average of 1kg in first trimester, 5 each in second and third trimester.
And at her gestation she should have had gained weight but because of over dosage of thyroid hormone she has not gained the desired weight but she will eventually compensate for that herself as she has started with proper dose now.
Take care.

Detailed Answer:
No sir, there is nothing to worry as the weight loss caused by the thyroid hormone usually affects mother only and whatever is the loss is compensated at a fast pace once patients has normal thyroid hormone levels.
And as the baby weight is totally within normal limits (which is usually 1kg at 28 weeks) so there is nothing to worry.
Just ask her to have proper rest and good nutrition and she will be fine soon.

Detailed Answer:
That's very good because rest and adequate nutrition are the biggest concern in most of pregnant ladies.
Guava can be easily taken in as much quantity as she likes and is very rich in vitamins.
She needs to avoid papaya and pineapple and can take all other fruits as much as she likes.
All vegetables are safe and specially green leafy vegetables are very good in pregnancy.
Good care by husband is like a cherry on the cake.
Take care.
