Would recommend a doctors visit; some causes listed

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Firing nerve pain can have quite a few causes to it as all the conditions I am going to list have the same presentation. The symptom you are experiencing is called neuralgia and the following conditions are suspected when neuralgia is reported:

+Diabetes
+Physical injuries
+A few sexually transmitted diseases (e.g. HIV, herpes)
+Nutrient deficiencies
+Tumor or cancer (rare)

Although I do not think this should be anything serious, I would although urge you to visit a doctor for a physical examination and an elaborate evaluation in order to diagnose and accordingly treat you ma'am. Please do not be alarmed by any serious causes and report to the doctor with only one thought in your mind 'get better'.

I hope you find my response helpful and can schedule an appointment with your doctor at the earliest. Please also feel free to write back to me anytime, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
