Brief Answer:
A benign lump found anywhere on the body

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Lipoma is regarded as fat collection closed inside a fibre chamber. You can imagine it as a tiny tough rubber ball moving under the skin. It is absolutely harmless and does not require any treatment. Only cosmetic surgery is done for people who insist its removal. They can be developed at any part of the body especially torso, hands, thighs or abdominal wall.

Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
Around 5000 rupees

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Are you asking for FNAC of the lipoma? This is just inserting needle into the lump and taking some tissue of it. then cells are extracted and tested under microscope by pathologist. This is not at all costly and is generally done by pathologist in their lab for under Rs 1000.

If you are asking for excision of the lipoma depending on the location and surgeon it should be from Rs5000.

Hope this answers and I am sorry for delay.
