Question: Hi I'm 34yrs of age and would like to have a hysterectomy done. I have 2 beautiful children and don't wish for anymore as well as I have previously been diagnosed with type cin 2 on my cervix and don't wish to go through all of that again. Brief Answer:
Elective hysterectomy not advised

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

However, considering that CIN 2 is not cancer and is treatable, and also considering your young age and the side effects of a hysterectomy, I advise you against it.

You are still too young to qualify for a hysterectomy and most doctors would advise you against it. In my opinion, your best alternative is tubal ligation. If you have never been given this option I recommend you talk to your doctor about this.

I hope this answers your question.
