Brief Answer:
please see details.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
The lipid profile is reasonably good if you do not have diabetes, stroke, heart attack , angina and you do not smoke.
The ratio of HDL and total cholesterol do not impart any independent risk over and above individual levels. Your HDL is 42mg% above the level prescribed for males(>40mg%). Your LDL is also reasonably good at 130 mg% if you do not have any associated condition as mentioned above.
Please do write to me if you have any of above mentioned conditions.
HDL cholesterol can be increased by exercise, fish intake, fish oils and by moderate alcohol consumption. however only exercise and fish intake are preferred methods.
Total cholesterol may be reduced by daily exercise (supervised), optimal weight (body mass index of 23), diet rich in fibers and unsaturated fats and low in saturated fats. Carbohydrates should also be taken in moderation.
Avoid oily/ fried/ excessively sweet food items.
Feel free to discuss further.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
