Brief Answer: Obviously yes. Detailed Answer: Hi. The history of illness and tests noted. Thickening of the terminal ileum has to be investigated for the cause to get a perfect diagnosis and plan the further management. Only Colonoscopy can help to visualize the actual interior of the terminal ileum and to get a biopsy from the lesion. Histopathological examination will give a perfect diagnosis so that a proper management can be planned. So please go ahead with the colonoscopy irrespective of absence of bleeding or loose stool. Regards.
