Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have done urine analysis of a patient who has undergone surgery of Laproscopic Cholecystectomy and reported to have 10-12 RBC .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on this problem.
1) Was patient catheterized during surgery.?

Presence of RBC in urine could be due to either minor injury to urethra which is common while putting catheter.or it could be a mild UTI.

Please give him broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antisept ic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.

Ensure to drink more water and repeat urine analysis after 5 days .If persitent he will need to evaluate thoroughly.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Hello
Thanks for follow up.
Catheterization is putting a tube in bladder passed through urethra( penis) to drain the urine from bladder .Normally it is left in bladder for 24 hours and removed once the patient is fully conscious and able to pass urine himself .
Thanks and Regards.
