Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (24 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
MRI and CA-125 suggested

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and reviewed the report.
The transvaginal ultrasound report is suggestive of a large ovarian mass on left side and thickened uterine lining, which is called endometrium.
This ovarian mass is likely to be benign, however malignancy or cancer should be definitely ruled out by doppler ultrasound and MRI, if required along with the levels of CA-125, which is the main tumor marker for ovarian tumours.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

how many percent it could be benign?

Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (3 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Exact percentage cannot be determined

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Exact percentage cannot be determined. Multiloculation is generally not found in benign tumours, while thin walled and anechoic nature are the characterstics of benign lesion.
Doppler Usg and CA-125 will make the picture clear.

Brief Answer:
D & C not recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
endometrial thickness varies according to the day of the cycle on which you got the ultrasound done.
If it was done within 7-8 days prior to the periods, then it is normal as endometrial thickness can be upto 14 mm in this phase.
Moreover, D & C is not recommended until there is irregular or very heavy bleeding in your age group.
