Thanks for follow up and uploading Semen Analysis report which reveals presence of plenty of (30-35 ) pus cells suggesting infection of prostate which needs to be treated with appropriate antibiotic as per culture an sensitivity report .

In a given situation with positive evidence of infection one has to take appropriate antibiotic as per sensitivity report .

Taking any antibiotic will not help us to eradicate the infection Hence I would suggest you to do Semen culture and take a call about taking antibiotic as per culture report .

Rest of almost all semen parameters are well within normal acceptable range

thanks sir for your response. my next question is urine culture and semen culture can be different?

Last time after taking tajobactum for 7 days my urine report and culture report came normal but still i was having a pain while urinating..... that means urine culture will not show the real results that prostate is still infected?

Please advise. I am not sure but my urologist suggests following tests:
com semen analysis- attached to the report.
Auto Acul Semen
ZN Stain- Attached to the report.
PCR MTB Semen.

From out of these anyone is related to the semen culture?

Semen and Urine culture are all together different tests.

Thanks for follow up .Urine culture and semen culture are different tests .
In semen culture you have to submit semen in sterile container in laboratory as you submit it within 30 minutes after collection .

It will detect organisms causing the infection and their sensitivity pattern so that you can take appropriate antibiotic to control infection ..

The other test that you have mentioned are done to rule out Tuberculosis which are reported to be negative in report which you have uploaded .

Taking antibiotic without knowing sensitivity pattern will not help at all .

The tests that you have carried out are not related to semen culture .It is a specific test done to trace out the bacteria that are causing infection and antibiotic that can be effective to control infection

As regards your query about Auto Acul Semen test I have not heard of this test .You may get it clarified from your Urologist

thanks so much sir for your prompt response. I confirmed that i have given my sample for semen culture as well so i will receive report tomorrow and then i will attached report for your review.

In the meantime, can you please suggest me some natural or herbal supplements which I should take to make my prostate healthy. your response will be helpful for me and it is so far.

I have attached my urine culture ( sample given on Saturday morning) and semen culture report ( Sample given on Sunday Morning). Please advise.

I had discussion with the MS and laparoscopic surgeon too and also with the urologist MS and MCH and i was reluctant to take any more injections because i already took so many injections due to this infection hence they suggested to take the medicines i mentioned earlier and they added alfoo 10 mg.

Thanks for uploading reports ,Based on the sensitivity pattern of organisms take Cefixime and Nitrofurantoin twice daily for 3-4 weeks and repeat semen culture .

Please note that semen infection takes long time to get eradicated completely hence you may have to take antibiotics for longer duration depending upon the status of infection revealed on culture report at that particular time .

Dear Sir, one last question, I didn't see cefixme in NY semen culture report as sensitive ? Can you please clarify this last doubt. My urologist here suggested to take bactrim n alfoo 10 mg and for nitrofuntain he mentioned that this medicine didn't have penetration in prostate. Thanks so much for your patience with me so far.
