Brief Answer:
Your blood glucose levels seem to be perfectly normal.

Detailed Answer:

Hello XXXX!

I am glad to hear from you again on HCM!

I would like to confirm that your postprandial (two hours after meal) blood glucose seems to be quite normal.

So there is nothing to worry about.

Your 2h+2h+15min after the meal is practically shows the fasting state glucose level (because at about 2.5 hours your stomach will become empty).

So 85 is also quite a perfect blood glucose value.

Based on these values, it doesn't seem that you have any evidences of glucose metabolism disorder.

But, if you want to be sure and not to repeat your blood glucose again, I recommend performing glycohemoglobin test (HbA1C), which is an indicator of your mean levels of glucose during the last 3 months.

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions whenever you need!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri

No that's enough i wiant to stop examing myself & i hate medical checks & feel fear of it . I think that this sample is good specially that i forgot to tell you that in our company hosted a Bayer campaign for early detection of diabetes 2 months ago & my random reading was 79 . So i think this enough to evaluate my blood sugar case ? Am i right ?
& for my infowhat is the ref range for 2 hours post meal & 3 hours as well .
Also i forgot to tell you that i ate before the cake a small fries & big tasty burger from Mcdonalds . !!

Brief Answer:
Your performed tests exclude any possible glucose metabolism disorder.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I agree with you that all your performed tests are enough to be sure that you have a perfect glucose metabolism.

It doesn't matter how much you ate before the Cappuchino and the carrot cake.

Regarding glucose values 2 hours post meal (postprandial blood glucose) it is recommended to be under 140 mg/dl (in your case it is 113).

Regarding blood glucose values after more than 3 hours values between 80-130 mg/dl are recommended (based on the XXXXXXX Diabetes Association).

So you have nothing to worry about!

Just relax!

I am at your disposal if you have further questions!

Greetings!

Dr. Iliri
