Question: I am looking for an Orthopaedics
for my mom who is suffering from severe leg pains

Severe leg pain at her age could be due to multiple reasons.
Common ones are :
1. Knee osteoarthritis
2. Lumbar disc prolapse or lumbar spondylosis
3. Could be Osteoporosis( weakness in the bones)
I suggest that you please describe her symptoms in details and any X Ray or other reports which are available. Continue with the pain killers.

The pain is mostly in her calf's and ankles.

What is the name of the X-Ray we have to get - can you please term it?

X Rays of both knees AP/Lat and L S Spine AP/Lat
Bone densitometry- Dexa @ Sites
Se Calcium, Se Phosphate, Se Phosphatase , S Vit D3 , S Vit B12

She actually had fever for couple of days and then the pains followed. Can this be case of Chicken Gunia? If it is, do we need X-Ray's in that case as well?
