Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read your query in detail.
As a part of evaluation of seizure you have got a MRI brain scan done and it shows scattered small high signal foci (?on T2 or FLAIR sequence) might be indicative of demyelinating disease, chronic white matter ischemia due to microvascular disease, or gliosis from an infectious/inflammatory disease process. This finding does not pin point to any particular condition and the proper diagnosis has to be made clinically by doing a complete neurological clinical examination. Most of the time these changes are not worrisome but at age 39 years there certainly is a lot more to think about as such changes are less commonly seen at your age.

An EEG may also be done to know any focus of seizure activity in your brain. You may also be asked to log seizures in you diary and let your doctors know the type and duration of seizure and if you are experiencing any neurological symptoms before or after the seizure.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any further doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
