What Does Persistent Pressure Sensation On The Jaw Muscles Indicate?

Question: for 1 year I have had constant pressure on jaw muscles wanting to bite down slightly-makes for exhausted muscles and pain.
for 1 year - Feels like dry sensation on gums on the left side of the mouth. continue to try to salivate to sooth only saliva does not satisfy.

As per your complain the feeling or pressure on jaw muscles can be related to jaw joint and disturbance in its function can cause such feeling..

Along with it dryness in mouth or gums can be due to reduced salivation which can be due to salivary gland disorder..

Please provide the following details so that I can guide you better..

1.D o you have pain in opening or closing the mouth or chewing?
2.Do you have clicking sound when opening and closing the mouth?
3.Do you have any medical problems or are you on any ?
4.As you have gone to doctor what did the doctor tell you and what treatment he gave you?
