Brief Answer:
Keep under observation.Constipation appears unrelated to pain in tailbone.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have told you that pain in tailbone might be non-specific musculoskeletal pain. Please take analgesics like Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs(like naproxen, ibuprofen) on sos basis(only at the time of severe pain),maintain proper posture and keep observing for a few days.If this pain does not settle down,it will need further evaluation.

This pain in tailbone is apparently not related to the constipation. However, please take adequate amount of water and fluids(at least 3-4 litres of water a day),high-fiber diet and medicines like lactulose syrup. These therapeutic steps will probably improve your constipation.PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER A PHYSICIAN'S GUIDANCE.

Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some follow up questions,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
