Question: iam 74 year old man. Have a resent ultrascan shows fatty Liver. Iam 6' 210 ilbs. I have a artifical heart value and a pacemaker. Should I seek further medical help re sornes in my right side below my rib cage.

I would just recommend to modify your diet (reduce sugar and fatty food and increase fibers). Spicy food and alcohol should be avoided too.

It is also important to lose some pounds. It will help improve your situation.

Consulting with a dietitian may be needed.

I would also advice follow up with abdominal ultrasound and liver function tests every 6 months to monitor your liver situation.
