Brief Answer:
No need to do MRI

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you asking HCM
If you have done abdominal ultrasound and the results are patchy faty liver infiltration than there is no need to do MRI.
You need to loose weight and follow up only with abdominal ultrasound after 6 months.

Wishing you all the best.
