Question: Hi i am 37 year old male. My recent test report have tsh value of 5. I was given the medication of 12.5mg thyronorm for 3 months and a round of test post the medication. Wanted a second opinion on this.
My height is 5' 3" and weight is 60 kgs. I have no symptoms as such.

Brief Answer:
Therapy with Thyronorm.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query. Your TSH level now is in normal range. But it can be due to the thyronorm you take. So it should be continued. If you discontinue it, then it can go abnormal again.

It is not possible to regulate the hormones with out medication in most of the cases. You should recheck after 3 months and if TSH value fall down more you can discontinue the medication after consulting your doctor.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.

Thanks
