Posted on Fri, 19 Dec 2014
Question: i had done sonography as my Gynecologist had suggested because of my delayed periods 45-50days and heavy flow. my age is 36 years. My Sonography result show (1) Mild fullness of P.C.System of both the kidneys. (2) Bulky uterus with 8 mm thick endometrium. (3) Calcific foucs inthe anterior lays of the endometrium (4) Tiny anteriour subserous fibroid 8.8. x6.0cm. (5) Normal Right ovary. (6) left ovary is in the Pouch of XXXXXXX and adherent. I Canno understand what it is. Now she has given me medicines like. Pantoplex, Laa-Lb, Tiniba500, Omex Dsr, Rinifol all these medicines two times in a day. Any if i do not feel better she has told me to flush the uterus. Is my gynecologist on the right track????????????

Brief Answer:
pelvic inflammatory response

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I understand your health concerns.
Your reports are suggestive of mild pelvic infection related inflammation and thus causing congestion in endometrium and ovaries causing problems in menstruation.
The size fibroid if is 8× 6 cm then it is not a tiny one so kindly confirm the size of fibroid so that I can relate the clinical features.
If the size is in millimeter then just inflammation is the cause but in case it is in centimeters then you will need further evaluation and treatment.
Waiting for your response.

Brief Answer:
endometrial biopsy is a must

Detailed Answer:
Hello, endometrial biopsy will not cure the problem for long.
It can give transient relief but mainly will help to diagnose the underlying problem.
The medicines are symptom based and basically will help in reducing the blood flow with no significant side effects.
Get biopsy done and we can then discuss the hiatopathology report.
