What Does My Semen Analysis Test Report Indicate?
Question: Hello Doctor,
I did semen analysis and my report says i have 7 million sperm per ml and the most worrying thing is i have 0% normal forms but 5% progressive. I am confused whether i will be able to father a child by IVF? Is it possible to father a child with this semen report?

Hi,
I understand your concerns about semen analysis.
It is difficult to conceive by IVF if morphology is zero. Moreover your counts are very low. However this report could be wrong also and hence it is not good to decide based on only one semen analysis report.
I suggest you repeat semen analysis from a standard laboratory in your town preferably from an IVF center.
Please send me repeat semen analysis report so that I can advise you further.
