No need of amniocentesis

Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Second trimester quadruple tests are not reliable.

2) If first trimester NIPT report is normal, then there is no need to worry about this quadruple test report.

3) Please dont worry about it. There is no need to get amniocentesis.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Hello Dr Koregol

In my 12th week scan NT was little high = 2.8 mm ( Triomy Risk Down syndrome_ Bacground Risk was 1:202 & adjusted risk was 1:21).

Than we got done NIPT to avoid Amnio or CVS, which shows Low Risk ( Report Attached)

Than in 17.6 Week we got the Anomaly scan done ( Report attached) after that the Dr advised to get the Quadruple Test done , which we got done in 19.3 week , which shows Down Syndrom 1.141 ( increased Risk) & the same Dr asked to get the Amniocentesis done in a day or 2, By this Saturday ( Report attached).

Now we are confused, should we do Amnio or not. are we taking Down Syndrom Risk or we are taking Miscarriage & Infection Risk.

Please advise after going through my Reports
Also if you know any good Obstracian in XXXXXXX ,

Regards
JC
