Hi dear,
The cysts in polycystic ovaries are generally very small, from, 2-12 mm, and are diagnosed by their typical appearance on ultrasound.
Exact measurement of these cyst are not done, as it do not affects the further treatment.
PCOS is a condition which cannot be categorized as mild or severe.
