What Does "lack Of Vascularity In The More Inferior Portion" In A Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: Hello, I am 55 year old, postmenopausal women, taking the Megestrol (160 mg daily for 2 months already) to treat endometrial adenocarcinoma on early stage. My last ultrasound show "lack of vasculaarity in the more inferior portion - ?significance?. This finding is not seen on the previous images (in October, before Megace treatment). I couldn't get an answer why it happens and what is mean. If anybody know the answe I would really appreciate the information

It is short report and I will type it for you:

Pelvic Ultrasound
As on previous occasion of 10/06/2014 both a transvaginal as well as transabdominla ultrasound were performed
The uterus reveals the small hypoecholic nodule in the anterior aspect of the uterine body of 1,4 cm. This was noted before and has not significantly changed. The endometrium measures 5.9 mm and displays lack of vascularity in the more interior portion ---? significance?. This finding is not seen on the previous images. Ovaries are unremarkable. There are no ascites

Thanks for your feed back

Vascularity is an important factor in carcinoma.Due to carcinoma there is proliferation of new blood vessels(neo-vascularisation) and this is shown as increased vascularity in colour doppler study.
High vascularity in carcinoma lesions is generally a serious sign.

Lack of vascularity in interior region may indicate improvement in lesion but it is not a very specific sign.It is not confirmatory.

Well, I would like to receive more detailed information. The provided answer I found for free just Google it. I did not received, for instance, the answer what might be a reason for vascularity decrease? Is it bad for health or not?

I tried my best to explain the things.As we discussed earlier,lack of vascularity may indicate improvement in status of endometrial carcinoma.It may be due to treatment response and it can be considered good for health.However,it is not a very specific sign.
