Brief Answer:
Need not be worried much

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
I am Dr Aslam here to help you.

Actually, any investigation reports is to be interpreted along with clinical details, like any symptoms you are having, any physical examination findings, any medical illnesses you are suffering from, and the regular medications you are taking.

Though the values given here are slightly elevated,in a diabetic male of 74 years age, this is not to be worried much, unless you have symptoms related to renal dysfunction, like resistant hypertension, pedal edema, decreased urine output etc. This might be the reason why your doctor was not concerned about.

If I were your treating doctor, with absence of any suggestive symptoms/signs,I will ask for a repeat test after 1-2 months to see any progression. If no progression,we need not be worried.
Anyhow,to avoid progressive renal dysfunction,we need to have a good control over diabetes.
You can discuss this with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have further query,I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health.Thank you.
