What Does Black Discharge Along With Semen Indicate?

Question: Hi I see there is a black thread kind of stuff coming with my sperm for the past one month.
On surfing in the internet I see its an thread kind of fluid from prostate gland.
I am worried is it an problem and it should be treated or not.
Can you please advise on this?

Black thread kind of stuff with semen is likely related to some prostate problem.

It can be some kind of infection for which you may need antibiotic. Other possibility is it is due to inflammation of prostate and secondary minor bleeds. These black threads can be clots of blood from small vessels of the prostate.

You need examination in form of routine check up, semen analysis, ultrasound scrotum and pelvis and routine blood investigations.

You should consult surgeon or urologist for the same.
