What Does Absence Of Vaginal Bleeding Post Mifegest Intake Indicate?
Question: Hello my last LMP was on 10 sep 14 and when I checked this month UTP + ve . Decided to abort and my doctor prescribed mifegest 200mg to take on 15/10 and 2 tab cytolog on 17/10 in morning and 1 tab in afteroon. I completed mifegest on 17th and 2 tab of cytolog this morning by 8 am ist. But still my mensural cycle didnt start. Can you please suggest if any thing goes wrong.

Was the 2 tablets today morning taken orally or vaginally? If it is orally it will take 6 hrs for the onset of bleeding. If it is vaginally, bleeding starts in 2 hrs.
So if taken orally can wait for 6 hrs. The next tablet can be taken according to your doctor's instruction.. If bleeding doesnot start in a day visit your doctor to get a scan done and repeat the dose if required.

Thank you for answering my queries. My bleeding starts now. Its heavy than as usual. Any iron tablets can be taken to avoid any iron loss or feeling sick. Cramping is also there. If can be taken can you please suggest any iron tablet I can get in medical shop here.how the healthy diet should be to get recover healthy.

There is be heavy bleeding with cramps for 4 hrs. Iron tablet wont help to reduce bleeding. It can be taken to restore lost iron and to build up Hb. It is available in various trade names. Content is ferrous fumarate 60mg. Take plenty or oral fluid and fruit juices with glucose added to it to prevent dehydration and to overcome tiredness..
