default
Posted on Tue, 8 Jul 2014
Question: I discovered a hard knot in my stomach approx. size of small marble. Maybe it has been there for awhile but just noticed it. It does not move & doesn't really seem to be painful upon palpation. I do have constipation a lot which I take Colace on regular basis for. Any ideas? Please & thank you.I should add the lump is about 3 inches to the left between navel & bottom of left breast

Brief Answer:
Possibly related to constipation or lipoma...

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

The hard know you noticed in your stomach might be related to:
- constipation (as your bowels work slowly and food remaining stuck for days inside the bowels)
- lipoma

I advise to get it checked by your physician and to run ultrasound of the knot and abdomen for final diagnosis.

Hope it helped! Let me know if I can assist you further!
