Answered by Dr. Sudhir Kumar (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Sugar should be well controlled.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms XXXXXXX

I have gone through your uncle's reports. He has suffered from facial muscle paralysis. It is caused due to a viral infection (herpes) and is more common in people with diabetes.

His diabetes is uncontrolled as per the reports, and it should be better controlled.

He should continue the medications, as advised by the doctor (they are on correct lines).

Physiotherapy and galvanic stimulation of facial muscles/nerve should be done under the guidance of a physiotherapist.

Best wishes,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
