Question: hi, please find attached reports from the tests recently done. the uric acid is on higher side and I also have grade-1 fattly liver. please suggest

Hi,
Thanks for uploading the reports.
You have elevated levels of uric acid, SGPT and cholesterol/TGL and also you have fatty liver.

High uric acid can cause joint swelling and kidney stones. The ultrasound scan has not mentioned about kidney stones. You also have not mentioned about joint swelling. So you are having high uric acid without symptoms. Stop drinking alcohol ( if you have have the habit of drinking) and also stop eating red meat. In spite of these measures if the uric acid level does not decrease, then you may have to take medications.

Fatty liver might be due to high cholesterol. If you are obese that might also cause fatty liver. You need to reduce weight if obese and also take medications. Consult you doctor for prescription. You also check for hepatitis B and C infection as these are significant causes of raised SGPT level.
