default
Posted on Thu, 7 Jul 2016
Question: Hello sir,
Good day.
My question is about pulse rate.
I have a pulse rate of 75 in the mornings before I go to.office.
When I check the pulse in the evening, 6 pm to 7 pm while resting, it's between 80-85

Also noticed that immediately after getting up.from bed I the mornings pulse rate is 65

I started checking this during my last annual medical checkup.

My pressure is low in the mornings 75 /115 and high when I return home from office 84/130 but it becomes normal if I relax for.sometime.

My worry is about pulse rate going high in the evenings

Thank you

XXXX

Brief Answer:
The reading mentioned is perfectly Nomral . No need to worry at all.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
As I start I would like to reassure you that the reading you have described is perfectly withen nomral limits and you should not worry at all .
We have to understand and pulse and blood pressure are vitals of our body ,they are never static and changes according to the needs of our body .
Rather such change is a sign of healthy heart , it means our heart is able to adapt to need of our body .
In early morning when you just get up , the need of oxygen of the body is minimum and hence the pulse and blood pressure is on lower side , the the day starts active body movement, food and work stress of the day brings the pulse and blood pressure on a higher note ( the values you have mentioned in evening are also withen nomral limits ) which 2 old again come to basal when at night you relax.
Hoping I could help you resolve your doubt s.
Let me know if any clarification is needed.
Regards Dr Priyank Mody.

Dear Sir,
Thanks a lot for the reply, this gives a lot of relief to me.
I started observing the pulse rate and pressure etc . after a particular issue continue to have.
I do almost 45 minutes of walk every day in the morning without any difficulties and feel good about it.
But when I do exercise in the evening, - 5 pm 6 pm around, and and try to relax, a sudden fluttering feeling comes on my chest.
This happens just after I stop walking (in less than two minutes just after exercise).
It does not happen during exercise.
I don’t feel any pain or loss of breath, but the flattering literally frightens me.
The feeling lasts for lest XXXXXXX 2-3 seconds.
But the the panic I experience is very bad.
I also observe that the triggers are mainly when I try to talk after exercise, also while try to control breath after exercise.
This sometimes happens also when I talk to someone for a long time and when stop and relax.
Also if I suddenly get up from my seat while working.
I can say the frequency of such occurrence is once in 2 weeks or a once in a month.
Is there any tests to be taken for my issue so that I can get to know what exactly I am experiencing?
Although, it appears to be a silly issues for many of my friends, it really makes my anxious.
I did X_Ray, ECG and all annual checkups and everything came out fine.
Once again thanks for the advice and look forward to hearing from you

Brief Answer:
The symptoms are mostly not due to heart

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX , I went through the information you have provided in detail .
If the reason of fluttering you describe would be heart , it should have been during the exercise and post that . Considering your age , base line nomral health evaluation , I don't forsee any cardiac cause for the same .
However just to be sure just see that 2 d echocardiography during health check was nomral.
If is very trouble some and occurs daily , a 24 hour holter is the best way to make sure the heart rhythm was nomral during the episode, again I don't see that is a absolute necessary test at this point of time .
I would suggest you take antacid , neksium 40 mg for atleast 3 weeks , any many times some reflux gastritis can cause similar symptoms.
Regards Dr Priyank Mody
