What Causes Vaginal Itching And Burning With Curdy Discharge After Using Cansoft CL?
Question: Hello, I'm in my 35th week of pregnancy. It was found out my my doctor that I have some vaginal infection during my last visit. So I was asked to Cansoft CL for three days. And I used it for two days now. First day when I used it I had severe burning sensation and an urge to urinate but I managed but I was alright after some 30 mins. Then after 2 hours when I went to rest room I saw a heavy white discharge. Then again yesterday when I used it there was no burning sensation like previous time also the discharge after 2 hours was less than that of the previous day.
Does that mean I'm getting cured.?
Does it in any way affect my baby?
Can I use my last tablet today and complete the course?
Is this infection by any means restricting my baby growth.?
They call my baby as small baby as she currently weights only around 2.5 kg. Is it anything coz of what I have done?
I'm really very concerned about these things. Please do help me out.

The fact that the burning and itching both are being reduced along with the white thick curdy vaginal discharge indicates that you are getting cured indeed.
You should definitely take the third dose as well vaginally and reassess tomorrow again. If the discharge continue then you can repeat the course again vaginally for next 3 days again.
Its safe in pregnancy and shouldn't affect the child in any way.
The weight of your child as per XXXXXXX standards is perfectly fine at 35 weeks, and usually its an ultrasonological estimation which often has a discrepancy of 10-15%. So as it is more than 2.5 kg , the baby is fine and you shall expect a healthy baby in next 3-4 weeks.
