What Causes Upper Left Quadrant Pain?

Question: Having sudden onset of ULQ PAIN. Worse on movement. The pain is sharp and contestant. It doesn't change on palpating the area. Doesn't hurt with eating or having bm. No nausea or vomiting.

As the pain is associated with activity, muscular pain or rib nerve pain are the most probable reasons. The source of the pain can be found in the spine. Especially if you also have some back pain.
In some cases kidney can give such pain with no other symptoms.

I suggest you to consult orthopedist and consider spine MRI. Kidney ultrasound and urine analysis is a good idea as well.
