Brief Answer:
Brownish hair are due to activation of melanocytes

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for turning of white beard into brownish one. In most of queries I answer one or the other person is worried mainly regarding greying of hair and it too less often that anyone worried about white beard turning brown. As I can get you are local XXXXXXX of the area so you need to show beard as white as possible.

To tell you simply regarding turning of white beard into brown one- Our hair roots contains special cells which are known as "melanocytes". These are the cells which gives color to the hair as well skin. As the aging progresses these melanocytes decline and then stop functioning so that the hair becomes grey and then white respectively.

In certain cases these cells again becomes activated after particular age and therefore start producing color. Therefore the white hair can again become brownish.

As I said in majority of cases people are more worried about greying and very less number of people are worried about white hair turning brown. Accordingly there are very few options available. In my patients with such a problem I suggest them to use Bleaching cream over the affected brownish hair. It should not be applied to the skin and only to the hair part only.

I hope these informations will help you. I will be glad to reply any further queries.

I wish best and early recovery,

With regards,
