Brief Answer:
Clinical examination of the area by an Orthopedician should be done at first..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome to HealthcareMagic,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

As per your description, the tightening/stretching feeling in the lower back can be due to muscular spasms/strains but can be due to some other problems also(referred pain from another region)...

How is the pain? Is it sharp/dull/throbbing?

Is it radiating to any other part of the lower back/down below/towards the abdomen?

Did you involve into any strenuous activities lately?

It can be due to prolonged sitting hours in front of computers during the job (if you're in a desk job or something similar)...

Always try to sit with your spine straight, and take frequent short breaks (5-10mins) in between and just walk around the premises..

Do not engage in any kind of heavy weight lifting..

Avoid forward/backward bending and any kind of stretching for the time being..

For symptomatic relief, apply some hot fomentation gently over the area twice daily.. along with this you can also apply analgesic gel Diclofenac locally (eg.VOLINI GEL), apply it gently over the area twice daily and do not massage...

Clinical examination of the area by an Orthopedician along with few relevant investigation (X-ray of the Lumbosacral spine, serum Calcium, Vit D3 level, ESR etc.) should be done at first for further management..

For the gastric problems, please try not to eat any outside foods, do not skip breakfast, avoid fast/junk foods and only try to eat simple home made foods..
