Brief Answer:
possible effects of pexep (paroxetine) as detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.

In my opinion, there could be following possibilities:
1. Pexep can cause brain fog in which there is reduced mental clarity at times, associated with forgetfulness. This can occur anytime of the day and may persist.

Do you frequently miss your doses of pexep?

2. Pexep can affect short-term memory in which some events, concepts at hand may not be registered in the brain. This can cause symptoms.

3. Another reason could be return or persistence of some OC features or development of some new OC features. You are struck at initial part of some problem and unable to proceed further because the initial part of problem is not solved as good as you want.

Did you try to discontinue pexep on your own in recent past?

These are some possible reason which can cause your symptoms.

A thorough assessment by your psychiatrist will help to determine the exact cause.

If the reason is from the first two points, the dose reduction might be needed.

If the reason is the third one, a dose increment may be needed.

Ensure the hydration of your body. Drink adequate amount of water.
Also, practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation. This will help to improve your concentration a great deal.

Hope you find my suggestions helpful.

Feel free to ask further.

Take care.
Thanks.
