If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have asked you the following details-
1)Since how many days, you are having headache?
2)Is the headache continuous or episodic?
3)If episodic, how long does each episode lasts?
4)Is it unilateral(on one side of head) or bilateral(both sides)?
5)Is it associated with vision abnormalities, nausea or vomiting?
6)Does it increase on exposure to light or sound?
7)Does it improve with sleep?
8) Any history of loss of consciousness?

Please follow up with these details so that I can answer your query well.

Hi Dr XXXXXXX Panwar,

Thank you for responding to my concern.

Actually I have been having this severe headache from past 2 weeks. Its not continuous, it comes often specially while working in office, when i am stressed.
It is bilateral, it pains near my forehead n eyebrow. It will last for 2-3 days & will come back again. I do feel nausea sometimes when i am not able to eat on time.

And yes, it increases on both exposure to light and sound specially to light. I guess it does help when i sleep.

I once fainted when i cut my finger while cutting vegetables so many years back.

2)Tab.Amitriptyline 12.5 mg at bedtime for 2 days, followed by 25 mg at bedtime daily.
3)Tab.Naproxen 250 mg sos(at the time of severe pain).
