Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

It can swell some times after blood being drawn you sont have to worry just ice the area and keep it elegated dont hang your arm and dont sleep on that side within a day it will get better.

May be there is some inflammation or the prick did cause some blood collection over that area body will recover itslef and blood and edema fluid will be removed by the body systems just ice the area and things will get back to normal in a couple of days.

If its paining you can take ibuprofen 200mg twice or thrice a day which will relieve pain and help with the inflammation.

You dont have to worry as such but if swelling keeps getting increased then you should seek medical attention otherwise its a common event nothing to be worried about.

I hope this answered your question, a
if you have more please feel free to ask.

Regrads.
