Brief Answer: soframycin/Vaseline or Petroleum jelly Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Is the wound still open or closed? Can you upload a close-up picture of the same? You have a feature to upload the pictures by yourself on the right side of this query page. If possible, please upload the same. If the wound is open, you can apply topical soframycin ointment for faster cure. If it is closed wound, apply simple moisturizers like Vaseline or Petroleum jelly. I would not recommend use of Betnovate- N. It is a steroid and would delay wound healing. Get well soon.

Brief Answer: apply soframycin only Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Thank you for the picture; that was helpful. The wound is still in the healing stages. I suggest you to use only Soframycin ointment thrice daily on the wound until the time it heals. Once the wound is covered by normal skin, you can use moisturizers like Vaseline. Do not use them now. No, it is not any kind of disease. Relax! Get well soon.
