What Causes Soreness And Tightness In Lower Right Abdomen?

My lower right abdomen feels tight and is sore to the touch. It is not an excruciating pain but severe enough to be uncomfortable. Yesterday I had the worst hangover of my life, so could this be residual effects of that? It also hurts if I have to bend down to pick something up.

To Recapitulate: 45 / M - Type II DM under treatment - Right lower abdomen sore to touch and feels tight - making uncomfortable and also hurts on bending down - had hangover yesterday - could be the reason ??
Hangover possibly is not the reason for your complaints.
This may possibly be due to:
Colitis or Appendicitis.
This is so as the symptoms are fitting into this diagnosis.
I would advise you the following:
Ultrasonography of the abdomen
Actual physical examination by a Doctor to add on a clinical diagnosis.
Investigation of blood : CBC, sugar, urea and creatinine
Further treatment as per the the findings of examination and reports of tests.
