What Causes Small Wart Like Growth Behind Left Ear Lobe?

default
Posted on Wed, 5 Aug 2015
Question: I have a small, slightly smaller than a pencil eraser, wart like growth just under/behind my left ear lobe. It's very scaly, has fairly defined borders, it's very symmetrical, is flesh colored and perhaps raised about 1/16th of an inch from the surface or a little more. I've had it for over a year. I've been picking at it for at least that long but never looked at it given the location. It doesn't itch or cause pain. It doesn't bleed when picked, but I have picked small spots off. I don't know if it's growing or at what rate. I suspect it's been roughly the same size for some time. I have a picture if you would like to see it.
