What Causes Small Hard Painful Lumps On Thigh?
Question: Hi doctor.
I have got 2 small hard painful lumps on the fatty bit on my in thigh.
Hurts to touch and press. Pics are attached.
Ehat coud this be? My doctor said cysts or abcess.
He dis say it cant be cancer.
Just wanted your expert opinion.

Maybe this could be a hygine issues? Not clraning properly?

Yes, your doctor has guided you right.These are because of infection of hair follicles. Hope your blood sugars are normal.
Do as suggested by your physician. Antibiotics, analgesics and topical application of warm compress, cloth dipped few drops of dettol in warm water 4-5 times a day will help.
Definitely not cancer.Take care.Get well soon.

They are very hard.
Bery worried about cancer.

It is had because of induration(hardness of soft tissue coz of infection).
