Brief Answer:
Increase your exercise intensity.

Detailed Answer:
HI
Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.

You mentioned Cortisol problem , how do you know you have cortisol problem ? Or did you mean Cholesterol ?

Initial few days of rigorous exercise may cause sleeplessness but I advise you to gradually escalate your intensity of exercise and you shall get sleep definitely and also your LDL will come down.

Cholesterol problems will not cause sleeping difficulty. It could be due to stress either professional or personal , or intake of excess of coffee or tea. or Alcohol .

SO my advise for you is continue walking , gradually increase your intensity to brisk walking and then jogging / running . Avoid drinking coffee or tea in the evening , avoid alcohol.

If inspite of doing all these you still have sleeplessness then you need to consult a Psychiatrist.

Hope this information is useful for you .

Any clarifications feel free to ask .
