Brief Answer:
pain unlikely to be due to kidney stones

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir

Going by description of sharp pain present for 3 seconds is unlikely to be due to renal calculi. Kidney stone usually produce colic like pain which comes suddenly and is present for few minutes before disappearing suddenly. The pain is usually present in flanks (side of abdomen ) and may sometimes radiate lower down.

Neither the duration of pain nor the location of pain suggest the possibility of kidney stone in your case. It would be very helpful if you could provide me with the following additional information

1. Where is the exact location of pain in front of abdomen?

2. Do you have associated nausea / vomiting?

3. Do you have burning pain in chest?

4. Is your appetite normal?

5. Do you have any urinary complaints?

Awaiting your response

Take care

Dear Sir

Such such pain is unlikely to be due to stones. I would suggest you the following

1. Ensure good intake of water : 2 to 3 liter a day
