Essential tremor can be a possibility. Please tell additional details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist and I'd surely help you out with your query.
More than 60 years of age, hands and head shakiness-most likely possibility is 'Essential Tremor'. However,to be conclusive for the same,I'd like to know some extra details of your history:
1)At what age did you started having these complaints?
2)Did it start initially as head shakiness or hand shakiness?
3)Hand shakiness is in both hands or one hand(If more in one hand as compared to another or started in one hand prior to another, please mention so)?
4)Is it associated with tightness of hands or stiffness of hands?
5)Is hand shakiness more at rest or while you are holding something(like a cup of tea) or while you are taking your hand towards a target(like you are just about to hold something and your hand is near that thing and more nearer it goes, the more shakiness you have)?
6)Does your head shakes in sideways direction(no-no) or in up and down direction(yes-yes)?
7)Is your handwriting disturbed because of shakiness?
8)Have you recently observed any slowness in your daily routine activities or tasks?
9)Do you take alcohol? If yes, does the shakiness improves or worsens on taking alcohol?
10)Please ask your 1st degree relatives(brother/sister,son/daughter or father/mother) that whether they have observed any such shakiness in themselves?
11)Does this shakiness effects your voice?
12)Are you having any significant past medical history, like Diabetes,Hypertension or any other illness in the past?
13)Is this shakiness effecting you functional, social and professional life in any way?

Please follow up with the above details so that I can formulate a work-plan for you.Good bye till then.
